Maxxis

A multi-functional booth structure for an iconic mountain bike event

THE BRIEF
After working with us on event booths for several years, Maxxis was ready to upgrade from a rented structure to a fully-custom build. The booth would feature a ground floor product display area and an upper level VIP lounge.

CHALLENGES
The booth would need to break down and transport to multiple events, while being structurally solid enough to support a crowd of visitors. Versatility was also a consideration, with a removable roof being a key feature.

SOLUTION
The 20′ x 30′ booth features everything Maxxis needs for a successful event, from the built in tire display wall to the upper floor with great views of the events. The space plan included other custom display fixtures, and left room for event-specific activities and activations.

A Room with a View

Located just below one of the most popular trails on the mountain, Maxxis’ booth at Crankworx Whistler was in a prime location to attract tons of traffic. When the competitive events kicked off, the top level VIP lounge had a front row seat to the action. Maxxis hosted a viewing party for the Red Bull Joyride in the lounge, inviting attendees to enjoy a beer and watch the event from the booth.

Product Displays

We designed and built a set of freestanding display fixtures, including a tire display, hero display for new products, and bike platforms. The ground floor included a built in tire wall with product information graphics, made with interchangeable slots to display various sizes and styles of bike tire.
