We collaborated with Race Face’s soft goods team on the development of a new category of storage under garments targeting riders in the growing enduro market. There were four pieces to the collection that included a liner, a bib, and a men’s and women’s specific tank. Comfort, support, and storage were the main requirements that ultimately drove the design. Vent panels and lightweight mesh materials provided comfort and breathability, while strategically placed sections of Lycra and silicon strips provided support. Each of the garments gives riders the ability to carry and have easy access to snacks, spare tube, pump, tool, and other essential gear. The bib and tanks also have a hydration pouch with an integrated hose channel to carry a 1.5L bladder.

We worked closely with Race Face to define and develop early concepts, materials and finish options, and tech packs with production details for the initial samples and prototypes.
